The Burton progression bindings were originally designed for rental use. We feel that rental quality product has several attractive attributes for the average retail customer as well.

1: For heavy rental use, these bindings are designed for maximum durability in all instances.
2: For rental use, the boots are designed to fit an extremely wide range of foot sizes and shapes.
3: For rental use, the bindings are trimmed down on fancy marketing items to keep the price low and durability high.
4: We’ve converted the rental discs to the lightweight retail discs. These were originally built with a Speed Disc but this proved to be too heavy and cumbersome.
7: A tool-free forward lean adjustment rounds out the ultimate hybrid binding that is fully adjustable on the fly.

We’ve decided to take the plunge on these bindings and get some brand new ones to offer for retail sale knowing that the term “rental” might turn some people off. Do not be afraid! These bindings are ready for the most demanding use you are able to exert on the hill.
